A multi-panel bundle is one plan that creates a line on two or more of your panels, for example a live-TV panel and a VOD panel. The customer pays once and gets one username. Renewals extend every line. Bundles need the Multi-Panel Bundles module. If your store doesn't have it, the bundle settings show Unlock Multi-Panel Bundles.

1Step 1 of 7Make one product per panel

Under Products → All products, each panel needs its own product, for example "Live" on your live-TV panel and "VOD" on your VOD panel. The bundle uses these products. You don't have to show them in your store.

2Step 2 of 7Pick the panels for the bundle

Open the product you want to sell as the bundle. In the Multi-panel bundle card, tick the product of each panel. For each one you can choose:

  • Package / bouquet on this panel: the package that line gets.
  • Connections for this line: how many devices that line allows.

If customers can buy extra connections, pick which panel gets them. Then set the prices under Extra connections customers can buy.

3Step 3 of 7Add options (lengths, family, adult)

Add each option you sell under Billing-cycle variants with Add option. Give each one a label, a length and a price, for example Single 1 month, Single 3 months, Family 1 month and Single + Adult 1 month. On a product made with Quick Setup, click Show next to Advanced panel configuration first.

Customers choose an option on your store, the same way they choose a length on any product.

4Step 4 of 7Give each option its own packages

Back in the Multi-panel bundle card, Packages per option lists your options. For each option, pick its package under Package on for each panel. Give a 3-month option the 3-month packages, a Family option the packages with more connections, and so on. You can also set the connections for that line. Bundle default uses the package from step 2.

Packages that only work for MAG boxes are marked MAC only.

5Step 5 of 7Sell adult as an option

A bundle has no separate Adult tick. For an adult version, add an option (for example Single + Adult 1 month), tick Adult option next to it in Packages per option, and pick the adult package for each panel. Click Update Product to save.

The option's packages are used when the customer orders, and again at every renewal. A customer who renews on another option gets that option's packages and length. Bundles without option packages work as before.

6Step 6 of 7Import a customer who already has both lines

Open the customer under Customers → All customers, click More and then Import existing line. Enter the line's username and password.

We check the line on your panels. If the same username is also on the other panel of one of your two-panel bundles, you can choose Import as bundle. Pick the Bundle and its Option, then confirm. This creates one subscription on the bundle with both lines, and their line IDs are saved. The expiry date comes from the first panel. Nothing changes on your panels and nothing is charged.

The import only offers a bundle when the other panel has exactly one line with that username and no other subscription uses it. Otherwise the line is imported on its own panel, as before, and the message says why.

7Step 7 of 7Link the lines of a bundle subscription that has none

If a bundle subscription has no panel lines (for example one you added by hand), open the customer, click View Details on the subscription and go to Panel Sync. Bundle lines shows which panels have their line. Click Link panel lines. We look up the subscription's username on each panel that is missing a line and link the line we find. Lines that are already linked stay as they are. Anything we can't find is listed, so you can check it on your panel.
