Creating IPTV Products

Products are what your customers purchase. This guide covers creating products, pricing strategies, and panel configuration.

Understanding Products

A product in IPTVbp represents a subscription package that includes:

  • Price and billing cycle (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
  • Panel and package assignment
  • Number of connections/devices
  • Trial period configuration
  • Features and limitations

Step 1: Navigate to Products

  1. Log into IPTVbp dashboard
  2. Click Products in sidebar
  3. Click Create New Product

Step 2: Basic Product Information

Product Name

Choose a clear, descriptive name:

  • ✅ Good: "Premium IPTV - 1 Month"
  • ✅ Good: "Basic Package - 3 Months"
  • ❌ Bad: "Product 1"
  • ❌ Bad: "IPTV"

Description

Write a compelling description highlighting features:

Get access to 10,000+ live channels and 5,000+ movies/series. Includes:
- All major sports channels
- Premium movie channels
- Kids & family content
- 7-day catch-up TV
- Multi-device support

Product Image (Optional)

Upload an image that represents your product:

  • Recommended size: 800x600px
  • Format: JPG or PNG
  • Shows on store pages and checkout

Step 3: Pricing Configuration

Price

  • Enter price in your store currency
  • Example: $15.00, €12.00, £10.00
  • Consider competitor pricing
  • Factor in payment processing fees (3-5%)

Billing Cycle

Choose how often customers are charged:

  • Monthly: Every 30 days - Most popular
  • Quarterly: Every 3 months - 10-15% discount
  • Semi-Annual: Every 6 months - 20-25% discount
  • Annual: Every 12 months - 30-40% discount
  • One-Time: No recurring billing

Pricing Strategy Examples

Standard Tiered Pricing

  • 1 Month: $15.00 ($15/month)
  • 3 Months: $40.00 ($13.33/month - 11% savings)
  • 6 Months: $75.00 ($12.50/month - 17% savings)
  • 12 Months: $120.00 ($10/month - 33% savings)

Feature-Based Pricing

  • Basic (1 device): $10/month
  • Standard (2 devices): $15/month
  • Premium (4 devices): $25/month
  • Family (Unlimited): $40/month

Step 4: Panel Configuration

Select Panel

  1. Choose the IPTV panel this product will use
  2. If you have multiple panels, select primary panel
  3. Can enable load balancing across panels

Select Package

  1. Choose package from your panel (Xtream UI bouquet or NXT plan)
  2. Ensure package has channels/VOD you mentioned in description
  3. Verify package is active in your panel

Connection Limits

Set how many simultaneous streams are allowed:

  • 1 Connection: Budget tier, $8-12/month
  • 2 Connections: Standard tier, $12-18/month
  • 3-4 Connections: Premium tier, $20-30/month
  • Unlimited: Family/Reseller tier, $40+/month

Step 5: Trial Period (Optional)

Offering trials can increase conversions by 30-50%:

Trial Duration Options

  • 24 Hours: Quick test, low commitment
  • 3 Days: Most popular, balance of time and commitment
  • 7 Days: Full week to evaluate
  • 14 Days: Extended trial, best for expensive plans

Trial Pricing

  • Free Trial: $0.00 - Highest conversion but more abuse
  • Paid Trial: $1.00-$5.00 - Reduces abuse, still converts well

Trial Configuration

  1. Enable Offer Trial Period
  2. Set trial duration (days)
  3. Set trial price
  4. Configure what happens after trial:
    • Auto-convert to paid subscription (default)
    • Require manual upgrade
    • Cancel automatically

Step 6: Advanced Settings

Setup Fee

One-time fee charged at first purchase:

  • Covers setup costs
  • Typically $0-10
  • Not charged on renewals

Grace Period

Time after payment failure before suspension:

  • Recommended: 3-7 days
  • Allows time for payment issues
  • Reduces churn from failed cards

Suspension vs Termination

  • Suspension: Account disabled but can be reactivated
  • Termination: Account permanently deleted
  • Recommended: Suspend for 30 days, then terminate

Step 7: Product Visibility

Status Options

  • Active: Visible on store, can be purchased
  • Hidden: Not visible but accessible via direct link
  • Disabled: Cannot be purchased

Featured Product

  • Shows at top of product list
  • Highlighted with badge
  • Use for best value or most popular plan

Stock/Availability

  • Unlimited: Always available (default)
  • Limited Stock: Set quantity limit
  • Pre-order: Available from future date

Step 8: Save and Publish

  1. Review all settings
  2. Click Save as Draft to test first
  3. Place test order to verify everything works
  4. Once satisfied, click Publish

Product Management Best Practices

Naming Convention

Use consistent naming:

  • Package Name + Duration
  • Example: "Premium IPTV - 1 Month"
  • Easy for customers to understand
  • Clear in invoices and emails

Product Organization

  • Group similar products (Basic, Standard, Premium)
  • Create categories (IPTV, VOD, Sports Packages)
  • Use tags for filtering (HD, 4K, Sports, Movies)

Pricing Psychology

  • Use charm pricing ($14.99 vs $15.00)
  • Highlight savings ("Save 33% with annual plan")
  • Show value ("Only $0.50/day!")
  • Anchor pricing (show expensive plan first)
