As soon as an order is paid and the line is made, your store emails the customer their login. You don't have to send anything by hand. The email is called Credentials Delivery, and you can change its text: add your app name, your own setup steps or a welcome note.

1Step 1 of 3Open the email

Go to Settings → Email templates. Find Credentials Delivery and click Edit Template.

2Step 2 of 3Write your text

Change the subject and the message. Placeholders are filled in for each customer:

Placeholder What it becomes
{{username}} The customer's username
{{password}} The customer's password
{{product_name}} What they bought
{{server_logins}} Every login of the order, one per server (useful for bundles)
{{setup_steps}} Our "How to start watching" steps
{{customer_portal_url}} Where they log in to their account
{{support_url}} Where they contact your support

If you leave {{setup_steps}} out, the steps are added at the end anyway. To leave them out completely, put {{no_setup_steps}} anywhere in the message.

3Step 3 of 3Check and save

Click Preview to see the email with example values, then Save Template. Reset to Default brings back the original text.

Sending the login again

If a customer lost their email, open the customer, go to their Subscriptions tab, click Manage on the subscription and then Resend Credentials. Customers also see their login in their account at any time.
