IPTVbp vs WHMCS
A WHMCS alternative built only for IPTV — hosted, with the panel connections included
Facts about WHMCS checked on its own pages on 5 October 2026 — sources below.
What is WHMCS?
WHMCS is billing and automation software for web hosting companies — its own headline is "Web Hosting Automation Made Easy". You license it by the month and, in the self-hosted edition, install it on your own server. It handles clients, invoices, domains, hosting accounts and support tickets. It has no IPTV features of its own: an IPTV panel is connected with a third-party module, sold separately on the WHMCS Marketplace or by an independent developer.
Honest credit where it’s due
- ●Domains and web hosting: 100+ domain registrars and automatic provisioning for cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin. If you sell hosting or domains as well as IPTV, WHMCS keeps all of it in one client area.
- ●A very large ecosystem: 70+ payment gateways and a marketplace of third-party modules and add-ons.
- ●Self-hosted control: the database sits on your own server, and you can write your own modules.
- ●Familiar: many resellers and developers have worked with it before.
Built for IPTV resellers and panel owners
- ●IPTV is the whole product: 18 IPTV panels (NXT, XUI, Xtream UI, Ultra 8K, Strong 8K, Activation Panel and 12 more) plus Plex, Jellyfin and Emby connect out of the box — no module to find, buy, install and keep compatible.
- ●Hosted for you: no server, no PHP or ionCube, no updates to run. Sign up, connect your panel, and your store is online.
- ●One plan covers the core: the storefront, the customer portal, the panel connections and the payment gateways. With WHMCS you pay for the licence, then for an IPTV module, then for a server to run them on. (IPTVbp has optional add-on modules too — extras such as chat bots, not the IPTV basics.)
- ●A storefront made for IPTV: ready-made themes, your own domain, free trials, multi-connection plans and M3U or MAC delivery by email.
- ●Free to start — free until you have 25 paying customers, no card.
- ●We move you over, free of charge: your WHMCS clients, their subscriptions, stream logins and renewal dates are imported, along with products and prices, old invoices (as read-only history) and support tickets, and nobody's stream is interrupted.

IPTVbp or WHMCS: which one should you pick?
Pick IPTVbp if
IPTV is your business. You want a customer to pay and have their line in seconds, on a store that looks made for IPTV, without running a server or stitching a licence and a module together.
Pick WHMCS if
You are a hosting company first — domains, cPanel accounts, servers — and IPTV is a small extra you want inside the same client area. Then WHMCS with an IPTV module keeps everything in one system.
WHMCS and IPTVbp: common questions
Is IPTVbp a WHMCS alternative?+
For IPTV, yes. WHMCS is general billing software for web hosts that needs a third-party module before it can talk to an IPTV panel. IPTVbp is hosted and built only for IPTV: the panel connections, the storefront, the customer portal and the payment gateways are part of one plan, with nothing to install.
How much does WHMCS cost for IPTV billing?+
On whmcs.com (October 2026) the self-hosted licence is $34.95 a month for up to 250 active clients, $54.95 for 500 and $84.95 for 1,000. On top of that you buy an IPTV module for your panel from a third party — for example $24 for an NXT module or $149 a year for an XUI ONE module on the WHMCS Marketplace — and you pay for the server it runs on. IPTVbp starts free and then costs from €29 a month with everything included.
Does WHMCS support IPTV panels such as Xtream UI, XUI.one or NXT?+
Not by itself. WHMCS ships with modules for hosting control panels such as cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin. IPTV panels are connected with third-party modules: the WHMCS Marketplace lists several, each from a different developer and each covering one panel family.
Can I run an IPTV module on WHMCS Cloud?+
WHMCS says its Cloud edition currently supports only pre-approved modules from its marketplace, and that support for custom modules is on its roadmap. Check with WHMCS that the IPTV module you need is approved before you choose Cloud.
Can I move from WHMCS to IPTVbp without losing customers?+
Yes — and we do the move for you, free of charge. Your clients, their subscriptions, stream logins and renewal dates come over. The import never creates, changes or cancels a line on your panel (with the panel's line ID mapped it links each subscription to its line), so your customers keep watching. Products and prices, customer details, credit balances, old invoices (as read-only history) and support tickets come over too. (The importer is also sold as an add-on module if you prefer to run it yourself.)
When is WHMCS the better choice?+
When hosting is your main business. WHMCS registers domains with 100+ registrars and provisions cPanel, Plesk and DirectAdmin accounts — IPTVbp does none of that. If IPTV is a side product next to hosting, WHMCS plus an IPTV module keeps one client area for everything.
